Turn recordings into material that can be searched and edited
Transcript suits work that begins with recorded speech: an interview, podcast, lesson or meeting. The transcription engine produces a text draft, while speaker assignment, highlighting and find-and-replace help turn it into something usable. Custom vocabulary is useful for product names or specialist terms that an ordinary speech model may mishear.
For an interview, correct the speaker names and important quotations before sharing the document. A recognizer can confuse similar voices or overlapping speech; a confident-looking sentence is not proof that the recording contained those exact words. Retaining the original audio lets an editor resolve uncertainty without treating the generated transcript as a replacement for the source.
Zoom imports work from recorded meetings
The documented Zoom integration offers manual selection of existing recordings and an automatic import setting for new recordings. The latter sends recordings into a chosen workspace, using that workspace's language and speaker defaults. It is a recording-import workflow, rather than a promise that a live meeting bot attends every call.
The help article requires a suitable paid Zoom account and available recordings for that connection. Someone who cannot see an old meeting should first check whether its recording still exists and is accessible in Zoom. For a recurring project, use a dedicated workspace with a clear naming convention so recordings from different clients do not become mixed together. Obtain the necessary recording and sharing permissions before connecting the workflow.
Choose the export for the next person’s job
Document and subtitle exports solve different problems. TXT, DOCX and PDF can support reading, editing or archiving; SRT and VTT preserve caption timing for a video workflow. Review speaker names, line breaks and timing before publishing captions, particularly where technical terms are important to understanding the video.
The export interface can also include generated insights and chat history. Bulk export supports up to 100 selected completed recordings from the current list page. That can help an editor deliver a batch of interviews together, but the selection should match the agreed scope. A transcript intended for a public article should not automatically contain private AI chat or internal notes simply because those export options are available.
Use insights as a structured second pass
Summaries, reusable prompts and chat let a reader ask questions of the transcript instead of scanning every line. A research team could use the same prompt to extract objections and follow-up questions from several interviews, then compare the results with the actual statements. Keep interpretation separate from a participant's direct words.
For an automated workflow, the official API exposes transcripts, workspaces, insights and webhooks. A completion event can notify another authorized system when processing is ready, rather than requiring someone to keep checking a page. Plan where the output will be stored, who can access it and what happens if a job fails. An integration should not silently publish an unreviewed transcript or invented summary as an approved record.
Unlimited manual use and metered work are different allowances
The annual selector currently advertises 50% savings. Free access permits two daily transcriptions with a 20-minute limit per upload and lower priority. The current Unlimited plan raises the published file ceiling to ten hours or 5 GB and supports ten simultaneous uploads.
The more detailed billing guide separates fair-use manual imports from credit-consuming automation. API imports, Zoom auto-imports and other automated sources draw on an allowance; AI insights, chat and translation are also metered. The guide currently lists a monthly 2,000-credit allowance per seat. A team using automatic imports plus extensive analysis should budget for both activities, rather than reading Unlimited as unlimited AI processing.

How to Use Transcript Promo Codes
No current Transcript promo code is listed here. For a no-code deal, open its details and follow the stated plan, trial or signup conditions. Annual-plan savings require the relevant billing option; a free preview does not establish that every feature is free.
If a code is added later, use its individual instructions. Check the final total, usage allowance and renewal terms before paying rather than assuming that a store listing itself applies a discount.
Transcript FAQs
Does Zoom integration require a live meeting bot?
The documented integration imports recordings manually or after they become available in Zoom. Its setup article requires a suitable paid Zoom account for this recording connection.
Which exports should be used for video captions?
SRT and VTT are subtitle formats. DOCX and PDF are better suited to document workflows; caption timing and wording still need review.
Are automatic imports included without usage charges?
No. The current Unlimited billing guide meters automated imports, including API and Zoom auto-imports, separately from fair-use manual transcription.
Can a team share one individual login?
Use the documented seat-based collaboration arrangement. It provides shared, selected-member and private spaces rather than requiring colleagues to share credentials.
Transcript Coupons FAQs
Which Transcript coupon codes are currently listed?
No current Transcript coupon code is listed here. Any published no-code offer follows its own plan or signup conditions. A trial, free tier or annual-billing saving should be assessed separately from a checkout code.
